Work experience

 

Mesa Public School - EDTV99 Videographer

August 2014 - Present

  

             Here at EDTV99 I am responsiple for managing a shooting schedule that will allow me to go out to various schools within the Mesa district,              filming events. I am responsible for editing footage in a professional mannor so that every piece I finish can go back to the school, or be                        placed on the EDTV99 website.  

 

Corners Magazine â€“ Lead Editor

January 2014 – May 2014
 

Beginning in January, I was promoted to editor of the web magazine app, Corners Magazine. In this position I am learning firsthand what it means to be a lead editor and the resposibilities that go along with the job.

I have been working alongside Kurt Lancaster, a renowned filmmaker and faculty member here at NAU, to produce film shorts for a web magazine app titled Corners. Gained valuable field experience while still attending school and broadening my knowledge of the entertainment industry. 

 

Northern Arizona University (NAU) Marketing â€“ Video Editor

August 2012 – July 2013 

 

Northern Arizona University Marketing provides film and documentary experience for us film students. I was in charge of finding visually compelling stories around Flagstaff, setting up shoots, preparing clients for interviews and putting together final edits. Over the course of my employment I helped produce over twenty films ranging from documentary to promotional and even commercial.

 

NAU Camera Equipment Checkout Room â€“ Front Desk 

August 2011 â€“ December 2013

 

The NAU checkout room is offered to EMF, photojournalism, and photography majors to rent out cameras and other equipment that may otherwise be unavailable to them during school. In charge of checking out equipment to students, keeping inventory, general customer service, and assistance for students who are new to the equipment.
