I am Elizabeth Nelson​. I am a graduate of Northern Arizona University. I studied in the Electronic Media and Film program as well as the Photojournalism and Documentary Studies program. 

 

My passions are simple. Candid phototography, put simply, is my favorite kind of photography. Moments captured when the camera is not noticed hold the most emotion. They are the most powerful images I can capture because it is making still a single moment in time. Through these images a viewer can experience the true meaning of the photograph.

 

My love of photography is paired with a love of documentary. Filming has always seemed to come naturally to me and with it, an intense passion. Through video, the audience is transported to places they may not be able to go. They are shown the wonders of the world through a lens and most importantly they are experiencing the same wonder I did while filming. 

 

Through both video and still photography my one true goal is to bring awareness. Whether it is bringing awareness to those who have lost their voice or help raise their voice over everyone else's.
